THANK YOU ONE AND ALL

Saving the TaTas 2010 exceeded our expectations, both in donations and in the net proceeds for the event. Considering the event was still only an idea on August 1st we couldn't have asked for a better result. Even though we have yet to receive all funds from Silent Auction winners and cash donations are still coming in (and very welcome) from around the country we've exceeded our goal by nearly 50%.

We'll be posting details as soon as all the auction items have been paid for and other donations and event costs have been tallied.
As the event organizers, Rose and I want to personally thank those volunteers who gave their support and time to assist with event planning, set-up, staffing and more.

Our HEARTFELT THANKS to the Artists who contributed the fruits of their labors, and to the Sponsors and product donors who helped make our artist reception and raffle a big hit. Please support our sponsors and donors, without whom this event may not have been possible.

Last but certainly not least... Thank You Mary Ellen, for allowing us to completely take over Gallery 225. We sincerely hope the people who attended (and those who couldn't) come back to your establishment to view your eclectic selection of art objects, and that they find many perfect gifts for the upcoming holidays... or perhaps gifts for themselves.

It's been said that art "Speaks" to you, and for every person perhaps it's a different style.

For our Saving the TaTas Fundraiser, one piece that "Speaks" the message of Hope, Love and Support particularly well is "Sisterhood" by artist Cynthia Brendza.

Finishing Touches

We were all running around like the proverbial chickens today, picking up last minute items for the reception. Big Thanks to Trader Joe's (Mesa) and Fresh & Easy Gilbert locations (Higley/Ray & Higley/Queen Creek) for donating some yummy cheeses.

Also received some last minute art donations and more raffle prize donations today. YEA!

We just finished printing all the Silent Auction bid sheets and the raffle item assortment... the total value of everything up for grabs is now over $7200.

Thank you to all the artists and other donors who have helped us surpass our expectations for a fundraiser pulled together in less than 60 days.

Now all we need is for everyone to show up.

Hope to see you all there!

New Donation Totals plus Site and Sponsor Updates

We've just totaled the silent auction donations and they're now valued at $4870... with 1 piece of art yet to arrive ! Our heartfelt thanks to all the artists who have given the fruits of their labor to support the battle against breast cancer.

A Slide Show of donated art and Remote Bidding procedures (for those who can't attend) are now available through the "I want to Bid on Saving the Tatas Auction Items" graphic on the right side of the page.

Kudos to Gold Sponsor, Laurie from Southwick Linens, who really came through for us.... there will be pink everywhere thanks to her support.

Thanks also to our new Gold Sponsor (and auction donor), Jerry Hoffman of Award Winning Photography, who will be there with his assistant to document our event.

Please support our sponsors and donors for believing in us and providing their goods and services for our cause.
